About
Mr Manpreet Singh
Consultant Gynaecologist · 25 years in medicine
Manpreet Singh is a Consultant Gynaecologist with 25 years in medicine — 20 of them in the NHS and 10 as a consultant. He now practises privately at Mount Stuart Hospital in Torquay and Emersons Green Hospital in Bristol.
He qualified in medicine at Pavlov State Medical University in St. Petersburg in 2001, and trained across Wales, Yorkshire and the South West. He spent his NHS consultant career at Torbay Hospital, where he was Lead Gynaecological Oncologist — bringing a depth of experience in the assessment and surgical management of gynaecological conditions that few can match. Along the way he gained advanced qualifications in gynaecological oncology and colposcopy, and earned his MRCOG in 2013.
Beyond the clinic, Manpreet is an active researcher and teacher. He is Principal Investigator on the national SHELLS trial into lichen sclerosus, has contributed to the British Gynaecological Cancer Society’s national guidelines on vulval, endometrial and cervical cancer, and has published in international journals. For seven years he ran a renowned MRCOG Part II preparation course, and he continues to teach trainees and GPs.
He believes in care that is tailored to the individual, honest, and centred firmly on your own wishes.

Beyond medicine
Away from the clinic, Manpreet is an amateur astronomer with a love of theoretical physics and mathematics, and composes electronic music in his spare time. He has trekked the high passes of the Himalayas, and now enjoys more child-friendly expeditions across Wales, Yorkshire and Devon. He has been married to Natalia for 25 years, and they have two children — his family, in his words, being his biggest achievement.
